14 weeks had already passed since my first post here in the blog! I am working around the clock, so I’m sharing a bit of work in progress of Oraia Rift!

As many of you have suggested, a virtual Joystick was no brainer to such adventure/puzzle game! Since then I have been hard working out on such features.

Adding more to the fun, the combat system in Oraia Rift has been rewritten from scratch, if you’ve been following the updates since the beginning, you may have noticed some hints about several combat modes I’ve written for this game, in order to be able to select the best possible combat that is unique, most importantly fun, varied and strategic.

The Combat mode will go as follows, as a beginning, you have your regular hack and slash, on top of that is the combination of the magic spells!

After getting the big picture of how the game system works, here I’m sharing game menu as well! The game most features are implemented into the 3D world, lots of puzzles, upgrades, unlockables … etc. I wanted to keep things as much as possible out of the menu!

If you got any feedback, questions or just want to share what you feel! I’ll be happy to see your comments below!

Oraia Rift is a 3D exploration and adventure title, I have dreamed to create long time ago since I was a kid!

It started specially on the times when PS1 was released, I used and loved to play lots of adventure games, I especially liked the games with “Hand painted” graphics, since that time, I’ve had no idea what was that art style called, thanks-fully today I’m able to recognize it.

Oraia Rift

is an adventure title, I have created and worked on specially targeting iOS mobiles, with past expertise working on iOS games, the development started back in March 2014.

Several times, I have mistakenly announced to people a release date about Oraia Rift, once was in Q2 2014, which literally gave me only 3 months to work on the game! I though as my previous 2D games, Oraia Rift would take as much (Providing I get support from the Art).

I was mistaken, by the time 3 months had already left, nothing was really done, except for some art pieces here and there. I have realized what it takes to make such a game, lots of love, patience and efforts.

Today, Oraia Rift is much more mature, I have finished lots of large environments, worlds for exploration, and I’m very happy to travel back in time and announce that Oraia Rift for iOS will be released in 2015 (More on this will be posted later)

Nothing better than a video to show the progress.
